Ever since 1977, I have been a HUGE Star Wars fan. I enjoyed all 6 of the live action films, but the Clone Wars films left me very unhappy. I know George Lucas originally intended for 9 films to be made, but he only made 6. Come on! There's so much more to be told in the universe that Lucas created. I would love to see the film adaptations of the New Jedi Order series and the Legacy of the Force series as well as any future Star Wars writings, but only if it's live action. So, what do all you other Star Wars fans think? Should there or should there not be more live action Star Wars movies?

Well, to continue the storyline, it is Star Wars: Truce at Bakura. That probably would be Star Wars: Episode 7, but it wouldn't be interesting enough to actually be made into a movie. I think that it would be hard to continue a Star Wars live action movie because the books have taken over all the storyline to the Legacy of the Force. And I wonder why they haven't made a series in the books after that. But yeah, I really love the Star Wars movies, they're probably the most interesting things besides the wonderful Star Wars games; Force Unleashed is awesome. But yes, there should be Star Wars Movies; live action. Let's say, after the Legacy of the Force; 200 years after the sixth film!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!

I absolutely love Star Wars. As a matter of fact, when I got married I walked down the aisle to The Imperial March instead of the Wedding March. It just suited me better. While I'll admit that I wasn't a huge fan of Episode I, I did really enjoy II and III. Absolutely LOVE IV, V & VI. I would really like to see what Lucas had in mind for episodes VII, VIII and IX. I agree that he should do the remaining 3 episodes that he'd planned, and they should be live-action. Just like the others.

I agree, I would love to see the novels of the EU brought to the big screen! It would be interesting to see the Jedi struggling against the Vong on the big screen! The deaths of Chewie and Anakin! But before all of that, they would need to show the weddings of the Solos and Skywalkers. Maybe do a weekly live series, instead? Star Trek has that, so why not Star Wars. They've had cartoons, so why not a live series?

what i would love to see is what George Lucas had in mind when he wanted to make 9 parts but i also want to see Darth Vader in action in all the parts off that trilogy because now we can all see how he can fight because off the advancements in film and cgi technology. and as a fan i would love to see a new Star Wars live action movie every year. with all the characters we love, in it. lets hope and pray.

Yes, I think there should be more films. It would be interesting to say the least. With the constant advances in filming it could go to the next level. The sky is the limit.

I completely agree!! I am completely crazy about Star Wars and what fan would not want more live action Episodes?! However, I think that overall, the six episodes are very complete and well rounded. They really cover every aspect of the story from Anakin and Padme growing up to Luke and Leia growing up, Anakin turning to the Dark Side then in the end seeing the good in him again as Luke watches his father die, then at the end of Return of the Jedi Luke seeing the ghosts of Yoda, Obi-Wan, and Anakin was a great ending. While I would love to see more and more, the way Lucas made these six, I think making the story continue may take away from the way everyone thinks of Star Wars. There would be no Darth Vader, no Yoda, no Obi-Wan, etc.

True. But it would be nice to see big screen adaptations of the New Jedi Order and Legacy of the force series of books.
