I'm working on my Pogo Bowl badge again. I started it yesterday but have yet to see a gold pin. If they had asked to knock down silver pins, I would have had this badge a long time ago. I'm beginning to think this is Pogo's way of getting me to raise my rank. LOL...I didn't think any bowling badge would be worse than the Bowling Shoes badge where you had to score 200 points or better. I'm rethinking that right now!
It seems to be that way for everyone. Only one or two people in the rooms I've been in have gotten a gold pin. I've been using the slow rooms but I think I might give the fast ones a try later.
Anyone else having better luck finding gold?

Ive gotten one so far and that is it. And i almost missed the thong i swear it repealed my ball from it.

I started on Wednesday evening and I'm only up to three. I played for 2 hours or so yesterday and I only got one gold pin so I gave up for the night. I got too frustrated with it to feel like dealing with it. I'm sure I may try for it again later tonight or maybe tomorrow but I'm tired of getting 5 silver pins in a row and then no gold.

I know exactly what you mean. Usually I would have the window minimized and when I would hear the noise, I'd get my hopes up. Then they would fall as I opened the window and it was just a silver pin. I thought I was dreaming Saturday night when I got my last two gold pins in a row. Just double checked to make sure I had the badge. LOL

"Boy" do I know what you mean!! This badge is going to be tough to get if there are no Gold pins. I played for over and hour today and did not even get one!! And bowling is not my fav. game there. It will probably take me up to the last minute to win it. lol

It seems like a lot of people were having a tough time getting a gold pin. I didn't get to play much on Friday but was able to get one or two more, then finished it off on Saturday. I was afraid it would be a last minute thing but I'm happy to have it over with. At least I got a spiffy new ball with my new rank. LOL

I got two of them yesterday and so far today I've gotten one. Even the silver pins aren't coming very often today it seems. I don't think this is quite as bad as the 200 one because you don't really have to try till a frame comes up with the gold pin! lol. I'm back to doing my friends badge, so I have to do this twice! :( lol

No, I haven't seen any gold ones - & I've only seen 3 or 4 silver ones. I dont have a lot of enthusiasm for the game in the first place 
I'm the same with 'real' bowling. I quite like the first game but then I've had enough & start struggling to knock anything down !!

I got really frustrated with the silver ones! LOL...I finally got the badge Saturday night. I don't know if they were feeling generous or I just got lucky with two games in a row with a gold pin. Either way, I'm just glad it's over with! I don't think I'll be bowling for a long time.

I finished mine today. I got tired of playing so I minimized it, ebayed & waited for the tinging sound, maximized played game & so on. Took me all day, but I got two things accomplished. Good luck.

I haven't played for the badges in awhile now. I really don't like alot of the games that badges come up for like the bowling one I really don't like bowling on the computer. Good luck getting your gold pin though and have fun playing on pogo.

I'm sorry you don't like a lot of the games they pick. I know I'm not always a fan of the ones they choose, especially some of the card games like Hearts or Euchre. Wouldn't it be nice if they asked the members which games are their favorites and those were the badges for the week? I think that would make things a little interesting.

I saw the requirements, and stuck to trivial pursuit, and bingo lua badges....my personal challnge was the throwing star badge for pop fu. ^_^
