Spring Break

Well today is completed as far as school is concerned. I have one class tomorrow and then I will be on Spring Break for a whole week. This has been a really tough semester and I'm so ready for a week off.
My youngest only gets one day as a Spring Break because they were out for 9 days during the ice storm due to the fact that they didn't have electricity on campus.
Are you or your kids getting a Spring Break? When is it? Some schools were out this week. Most of the schools around Arkansas are out next week.

Our spring break is about over with. The spring break here started march 16th to the 20th. Kids will go back to school on the 23rd.

Our legislature passed this initiative to make all public schools in the state of Arkansas have their spring breaks the same week next year. We have school choice here, and we had parents whose kids were in two different school districts and they wouldn't all be out on spring break the same week! It was crazy!

It seems all the Oklahoma schools had their spring break this week. Which would explain all the kids running around my apartment complex at midnight, generally making noise and mischief. I bet you're ready for some rest and relaxation. Or are you going to be able to get any at all?

Oh I'll get some! It may not be as much as I'd like, but I do intend to sleep in if nothing else. My facebook status earlier today said something like "I can't wait to sleep past 6 a.m." I also hope I can use the time to catch up on some housework and some laundry as well as going to visit my grandmother.
