It's probably one of the best books I have read in years. Seriously, this book trumped a lot of my favorite books, and I read a lot of Gaiman and Palahniuk, so that's tough competition right there. "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time" tells of the story of an autistic child and his daily routine. It's quirky and extremely interesting to read. I highly-recommend this book to anyone who's desperately searching for a good book to read. Try it out and see for yourself. :)

Hi! I read this book 3 years ago, and I fell in love with it. It's written in such a way that you get a deep insight into the main character and the way he thinks. The book is humorous, sometimes outright funny, but at the same it is sad and heart-breaking. Mark Haddon is a brilliant writer. It's just too bad this was classified as a children's book when it came out, so a lot of people missed out on the opportunity to read it.

I thought you mean Sherlock Holmes when I read your title. This phase "The Curious Incident of the Dog" becomes popular in Sherlock Holmes stories. Something along the line of Sherlock Holmes saying "There is the curious incident of the Dog." The our dear Dr Watson says "But the dog did not bark." Sherlock Holmes says "That is the curious incident."
