this company has been around for years and i have heard good and bad things about them.. i think i have bought from one of their dealers/salespeople before a few years ago because some one at my work brought a catelog and it was the same setup and i loved the things i bought.. if its the same place at least i know the quality is good and the price range and maybe its something i could use when i get my ebaying back up..
does anyone know how much it usually takes to get started?? it says 25 dollars but other places have said its a couple of thousand?? anyone know anything about this or had any experience they can share?? i dont really care for the places i get some of the things i used to resell so im looking into my options

I have dealt with SMC before, and Sold items from there, and their products are very nice for sure. I even sold them back when we had a Local Swapmeet in our area and did quite well with them for sure. I am not sure what it costs to do this as a Business anymore, but I know for me I remmember paying more than $25 for it. But overall it was a Great thing to do, and wishing you the Best if you decide to try this as well.

well when i went into it further it was 25 like starting payment but 400 by the end of the payments which is more than i want to invest in something that i wouldnt do a ton with.. i mean i want to sell it but the way i would be starting out would be slow so i dont think it would equal out.. i do like what they have.. maybe in the future

My father tried to work with them... it isn't a get rich scheme if that is what you are worried about. But you do need to invest time into it like any other business. My father didn't invest too much time because he'd rather have a steady paycheck lol... but the concept is good.. you can make money through them but you need to set aside some time. No my father didn't spend a couple of thousand to start. Keep in mind that if you buy from them (as a supplier) whatever they ship to you the cost of shipping is on you. However, you can ship a product directly from them to your buyer which in the long run does save you money.
Oh sometimes they have specials, where stuff you would need a couple of hundred to buy would set you back only 50 or 150 depending...
Hope that was helpful.

They sound interesting enough. i had forgotten about them until juust now, but I remembered a rather interesting sounding infomercial I saw for them a few years ago. I've bookmared their site so that I might take a closer look at them a little later on. Any good way to make money is fine with me.

Well Its not a couple of thousand thats for sure.. my mother has sold smc in the last few years and she could never afford that.... I would say before you decide to sell it. to ask aroun d and see if people are intrested in buying these sort of things because my mother had to stop doing it because there was no buisness..
They do have some cute things and yes they can be cheaper then in the store. but some people are just not intrested.... plus ALOT of people right now dont have the money for ordering things because of the economy and bills...... If you do decide I wish you the best of luck.... I wouldnt mind ordering from the catalog if i can like go to the website and order and type in a code for your buisness or what not that would be pretty cool:).....

yeah the economy really is hitting any type of sales jobs right now so i may wait till it picks up a bit.. or at least the unemployment rate goes down.. i looked more into it and its gonna be like 200-400 dollars to start for the first year and i dont know if i want to put that much money into it with how much problems i had selling stuff in december.. i wish i was still in contact from who i bought from before but i totally forgot who it was lol.. but considering where we worked i dont see her paying 400 to be a part of it..
