I was just wondering where you can classify a banana, is it some kind of a tree since it bear fruits, or not at all. Can you share some information about this?

Plants can be classified into herbs ,shrubs and trees.Trees have a woody stem while herbs do not have them.Banana plant has psuedostem(false stem)which is not persistent though it can grow very tall ,giving an impression of a tree.Since it lacks woody stem ,banana are classified as herbs.
