I have a habit of drinking soda or cola drinks. Sometimes I feel abdominal fullness everytime I drink it. What could be the reason why. Especially after eating and you drink soda it makes you explode like a blimp. What do you think?

I guess its because of the gas in those drinks. Gassy stuff always make you feel like you are gonna explode anytime. Hehehe. They fill up the space in our stomach, I guess. Sorry can't help you with the true scientific explanation ;) I never like drinking soda after food. I stick to water or juice. In fact, I'm not much of a soda fan overall. Happy mylotting!

It's the gas content in soft drink and soda. The more gas within a product, the fuller it's going to make you feel - because you're filling up with air basically. Which is why you will feel less full after burping heh.

Yup, you are right. CO2 is the gas.
