At which time of the year do you get itchy feet and want to go traveling?

I find the winter in my home country a cold time when I am dreaming of travel plans for my next trip. Around Christmas time is the most likely time I will get on to the Internet and book some flights. I usually book a flight for the summer time but I wanted to go to South Africa. The summer is from December to February there so I decided to go in January 2009. I took my toddler son to Cape Town and the Garden Route. It was warm and sunny whilst in my home country it was freezing cold. Do you ever get itchy feet and want to plan a vacation? Have you ever been to a country that has different weather to your home country?

I always have itchy feet! I am always costing up holidays and seeing if they are feasible to do and I have just found out I have won a pair of flight tickets so I am now planning on where to go with them and how much I can get a hotel for!

I don't travel abroad much because I find the history and sights in England so interesting. I've been to a few other countries and enjoyed my time there, but I suddenly realised how much there is here that I haven't seen. However, that doesn't mean I don't get itchy feet... then I just up and go on the spur of the moment. It's quite simple if you're only travelling a short distance within your own country! Brightest Blessings my friend.

I really don't have "itchy feet" to go traveling. My husband and I travel at least once a month for an armwrestling tourny. So Sometimes I'm all traveled out. Its fun, but sometimes, when the town isn't so fun, its boring.. haha. I do want to fly sometime to another country. Possibly to visit where the Lochness Monster is assumed to be.. hehe.. I'd love to go on a hunt!

On land the western side of Britain lies one of the most beautiful parts of the British Isles: the Principality of Wales. Thw Welsh mountains have a beaty is rugged and forbidding, but the slopes are as green and fertil as the the valleys and provide rich pasture for sheep and cows.In central and north wales, farming is the main occupation, but the valleys of south Wales, are very industrialised. Here the wealth of the land lies below the surface in rich coal seams, and the wealth of the land lies below the busy towns around iron and steel foundries, chemical works and refineries. Wales is very popular for holidays.every year, thousands of people spend their summer holidays at the seaside resorts on the North Wales cast or, if they prefer it, enjoy undisturbed peace and quiet in isolated villages remote from town life. Those who like to be energetic will probably choose Snowdonia. The Welsh people are renowned for their good voices and it is rare to find a village without at least one choir competing in an eistddfod or arts festival. The biggest festival of all is the Internation Eisteddfod held every year in Liangollen in Clwyd. Singers, dancers, musicians and poets come from all over the world to compete in an eisteddfod or arts festival.

We don't get itchy feet so much as a cold behind that gets us dreaming of travel. Years ago I loved the winter here in Canada but now I take medication for my heart that thins my blood and now I find it hard to even look outside when it's too cold. That's when I dream of Florida. I dream Florida because it's a destination I can actually drive to and at this point we still don't need a passport.

For me, my feet will get itchy to travel during end of the year as that's the time where I have to clear my leave. Furthermore, my kid are in school so end of the year is the best time to go for overseas trip.
