Hi simply_lizzie, I think that I have always believed in reincarnation and still feel that it makes more sense than anything else that I know off. When just a child I would sometimes get the feeling that I had another home and other parents and that the people around me were strangers. I was raised in a good home and my parents loved me very much and I loved and respected them in return. I had brothers and sisters and we were as happy as any family I've ever known. My parents were Christians and I was probably in my teens before I heard the term reincarnation. I have read the Bible many times and still read it today. I am aware of the fact that one person can read reincarnation into the Bible and another can read it right out again. I do not take the Bible literally and believe that much was left out. There is considerable proof that many of the early fathers of the church believed in it, in fact it was the sixth century before it was officially condemned by the church. Other great faith traditions of the world taught reincarnations thousands of years before Christianity came on the scene. I have known two children who remembered past lives but their parents discouraged them from talking about it and it was eventually erased from their memory. There are also thousands of documented cases of people, especially children remembering past lives. Since I feel that we are spiritual beings having a human experience it seems natural that we would need many lives here to experience even a small fraction of what it means to be human. Blessings
