favorite utensils

I have many odds and ends silverware. I have a certain fork that I like to use and will dig around in my silverware drawer until I find it. I have a son who also has a particular fork that he always wants to use. I also have a particular mug that I drink out of and will pick it over any other. Do you think this is odd? Do you have any favorite things in your kitchen that you like to use?

I think is is normal. Everyone seems to have a favourite mug, or knife and fork. I am happy to use any of our cutlery, but will always look for my favourite first. I even have a favourite mug for coffee and a different one for tea. It just seems that with the right mug to things taste better!

Isn't that the truth! I always think my iced tea tastes better in a certain glass mug I have than any other one. Thanx!
