I'm guessin' that fresh vegetables would most likely be the healthiest for us. And I prefer fresh. Canned veggies is good for storing if you're not going to use them right away. Plus I think they are cheaper. Frozen, I would imagine would be better than canned, but honestly I have no idea. Fresh still tastes the best to me. How 'bout you? . . . fresh, canned or frozen?

I like fresh when I can get it in season. Next choice would be frozen, because there's no added salt like in canned veggies, plus they don't have the nutrients cooked out of them. When I garden in the summer, I try to grow enough stuff that I can put it up in the freezer for wintertime. I do keep a few cans of veggies and things in the pantry for those times when the electric goes out in a winter storm or something. Nothing is worse than having a freezer full of food, it's freezing out, and there is no way of defrosting stuff so you can cook it lol.

Veggie gardens are fun. Start with tomatoes, they seem to grow fast and plenty. It can get rather bushy though.

fresh is my favorite - I like to cook them tender/crisp and you just can not do that with frozen or canned - plus the flavor is so much more intense. The best is to pick them yourself and cook right away. mmmmm. next for the most part I like frozen, but the exception is stringed beans - these I prefer in the order of; Fresh - Canned - Frozen

Well, I like vegetables as a rule. My tastes in vegetables is not as wide as in fruits, but I still like many of them. I prefer them fresh and that's how I buy them mostly. Lately I have been buying some frozen ones ( Broccoli, peas, etc ) It's not the best but it keeps longer. Canned.... well... I don't like then canned that much. They kind of feel soggy and don't taste as good. I don't usually buy canned vegetables unless it's an emergency.

Fresh does taste better then everything else but we eat alot of frozen it doesn't take as long to cook the frozen but longer then it does the canned. I find that canned foods sometimes have the taste of the can in the food so I try and stay away even though the cans are better for storing. As far as cheaper goes I don't know about that b/c I got a couple of bags of frozen veggies for .08 on sale and we eat off of 1 bag twice where as the canned we would only eat off of it once and I haven't found them that cheap yet.

Oh fresh definitely is the only way to go..Plus the less you cook them, the better, none of this cooking for 15 minutes, just 3-7 minutes, (depending on the veggie) is quite enough..Not only do they still have their nutrients, but they have a nice crisp crunch..(Or even better veggies like carrots, eat them raw or juice them..)

Definitely fresh veggies. I think they are healthier and taste better, though they can't keep too long. The only canned vegetables that we take are green peas.

Fresh vegetables are the best. Not only because of its taste, but also the nutrition. So I always buy all kinds of fresh ones.

I think that fresh is the best because they always have the best taste. However, canned veggies are fine because they always last a long time. Like you said, frozen is better than canned because it keeps in more nutrients. I think that it really doesn't matter though, as long as you eat your veggies.

Definitely fresh vegetables are the best in nutrients and in taste. But of course if you need them stored for a bit longer, canned is always a good alternative. For me i like them fresh, good thing the market is just walking distance from my pad so i get to buy fresh vegetables everytime i want it.

I am partially fruitarian because i still eat fish. If there's no fruits or veggy just fish, I eat fish.I like fresh one. But I also buy canned and frozen. I like fruits for breakfast and lunch. Bread or pasta or soup for dinner. I also juiced my fruits. My favorite are succulent fruits next is dry fruits except walnuts. The last time, I make respond to your discussion about mylot goal setting, I suggest that you visit www.medfoodpedia.com Did you visit it? They have recipe too. Enjoy eating, gtargirl!

I never tried canned veggies. So no comment at all. I only eat fresh vegetables if I make my meal. If it is a frozen veg, it just tastes abnormal to me, maybe I just don't know how to make it good.

I always prefer fresh, but I only by fresh if I know I am planning on using them right away since they go bad pretty quickly if not used. I am usually buying Frozen just because I am not in such a rush to use it. The only can veggie that I would buy is Corn. But I prefer the Frozen over the can. The bottom line is though that you just cant beat a fresh veggie
