This is the strangest thing I've ever heard!

My mother-in-law has never been able to wear any kind of watch (analog or digital) as it seems as if she has a weird electrical current running through her body. Whenever she wears a watch, it loses or gains time or just stops! I have never heard of anything like this before - have you? Is there anything she can do so that she can wear a watch? She's in her 60's now and has tried all different kinds of watches, always with the same result. Weird...

Yes, I have that problem too. I gave up wearing watches a long time ago. I do wonder if I would have the same effect on a digital watch, but have got so used to using my mobile phone to check the time that I don't need one now. I think it has something to do with electro-magnetism or something. Maybe your mother-in-law would be good at dowsing - I seem to be able to do that, and have wondered if that is connected.

I wonder if this is more prevalent than I originally thought. I had never heard of it before. Interesting about the dowsing comment, we live on rural property, so we'll have to get her to give it a try. Did you dowse for water or something else? Thanks for your response and happy mylotting!

I can usually find water pipes and metals, so I don't know if I find pipes because they are metal, or because they have water running through them. Plus, I think it is the fact that the earth has been disturbed when the pipes were put in. I use thick copper wire sticks, bent into an L-shape. A good test for your mother-in-law would be to hide a coin or piece of metal under a rug to see if she finds it - but make sure she hasn't got any metal on her shoes!

That's really interesting... I've always been fascinated by dowsing. I am really interested in gold panning and read recently that you can use dowsing to find minerals, etc. She spends her winters in Arizona, but is due back soon. I am going to try this with her! Thanks for responding and happy mylotting!
