Liverpool will face Chelsea in the quarter finals of the Champions League on April 8th and after the last time we will be looking for revenge. The two teams have met for 5 season in a row in this competition and 3 times in the last 4 semi-finals. Lampard has been quted as saying that Chelsea would have liked to avoid Liverpool, but at least Alex Ferguson will not have to be embaressed at this stage by Liverpool. Is anyone brave enough to try and predict the outcome of the home and away legs :- My guess is.... Anfield ------ LIVERPOOL 2-0 Chelsea The Bridge --- Chelsea 0-0 Liverpool.

What a mouth watering tie in prospect. I think both Liverpool and Chelsea would have been keen on avoiding each other. Chelsea would not have liked to bump into Liverpool in it's current supreme form. And Liverpool would fear Chelsea as the team that can pierce it's high flying bubble currently. All the matches between these two have really been tight. I think this will also go to the wire and hope that Liverpool pips Chelsea over the two legs. Cheers! Ram

This is looking like an exciting tie and as you say, not the usual 2 great teams cancelling each other out (0-0)

Yeah another great match is waiting :D I am not a fans for both team, but i will support liverpool to beat chelsea, Eventhough i like Guus Hiddink as the coach of Chelsea. I predict Liverpool will win 1-0 in Anfield and have a draw in The Bridge 0-0.
