something missing in mylot

after using this site i personally observed few certain things that should have been there in mylot.com site.
1. there is not enough task to perform, if it would be there then earning money could be bit faster
2. if you did any mistake in spellings and all then you can't edit it just after posting . there should be edit option i guess.
3. There is not any searching criteria which can search the whole contents of site and repetition or similar articles should be avoided to get posted more than once. i hope in coming future this facility will be there.
what you people asy am i right or not ?
and if you have any other observation then let u know

The tasks are new - as of this week. Prior to that you posted, responded, photos and the like to earn.
At the top of the screen IS a search bar and you can search mylot, discussions, the web, or the blogs linked here from that bar.
I do agree the search feature needs some work.

you are talking about the search bar where you can search something if you wish but i am talking about the searching criteria of a website while posting an article and if its content is somewhat similar or topic name is same then it should issue a message that the same posting or earlier posting have already same content please visit that post before posting this.
one more thing is missing i guess is a kind of text editor so that users feel bit easy in inserting words in italics or in bold or put some image, can put smileys etc.

I dont have issues with adding smileys bolds or italics - its not that hard.
You didn't really specify WHERE you wanted the search feature. I agree it would be nice if it would let you know when you post a discussion that's word for word the same as another one.

your views are quite good.
as far as i think about repeated topics, it is not a concern for mylot because they needs more and more refreshes, and if they maintain as you said then it will quite possible to start any new thread because first we have to search that either there is already a thread or not.
and about tasks, i think that there are a lot of people here in mylot. so its not easy to give a task to everyone.

You are right, there are much to improve for the site. I remember raising some of the same suggestions when first joining the site. But after months of experience, I feel the merit of mylot is simple structure, down rooted, friendly access, focusing on its target users. Any luxury of sophysticated nature might be beyond its resources. Let's keep patient to await its improvement, and enjoy myloting.

Task are just an adition. It´s not the main interest of the site. But I do agree we should be able to edit more. And I also would klike to be able to delete some posts that are forever using up my space.
