most of the time we feel that the other person's job is much more easier and better paying than our job. we can see the fruits of the other person's job and compare those fruits with the obstacles of our own job. we don't realise that the other person also faces constant hurdles and difficulties in his/her job. we just compare and rate ourself to be in a more difficult position. do you ever feel so about your job? have you ever felt that somebody else's job would have been better for you. have you ever felt that you are suffering in a job that is not meant for you?

Nope, I had a cherished dream to become either a college teacher or a university teacher right from my school life and as now I am one, I am happy and contended. I have not compared ever my job with that of others' and I never felt like doing so either. I did not appear in the oral interview of Assam Civil Service Examination for I did not want to become a civil servant. This job where I am now is more than satisfactory for me. And I feel everybody should feel so.

I think the grass is always greener on the other side. And it's like you said, you may think that the other person has a great job, life, family etc, but that's just because we have very little idea of their problems. There are probably many people who think you have a great life simply because they do not know you well enough to know any problems that you might be having.
