If God spoke to you, would you listen?

Or would you ignore it? would you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that it was him speaking or would you think that you came to this conclusion on your own? Would you do what he said even if it seemed impossible? or would you strive to fulfill what he asked of you? They say that God warns before he Wounds - and in that case would you do everything that was asked of you? or would you only do it half way? Would you loose focus if something didn't happen right away or would you continue on the path set before you?

Yes I would listen. If God give me a mission I think it's better if I just follow Him without any questions. After all He knows what's the best for us.

I find that the more I seek God and study His word the more I do hear Him and the more I recognize His voice. It has been pretty awesome lately hearing Him and knowing that is the God of the universe, the Creator of everything revealing Himself to me. I wonder why He would want to have a relationship with me and the only answer I can come up with is that the Bible is true, He loves me and made me for His enjoyment and to do His work. Ten years ago He gave me a vision of something He wanted me to do. I have been anticipating the time that it will come to be and have diligently prayed and been open to His leading to make it happen but yet I still wait. I recently asked God to take the desire away from me or to tell me it was really from Him and that I just need to wait upon Him. He is faithful, and I am still waiting. There have been times in my walk that I have not recognized His voice and so have been disobedient and other times when I knew it was Him and obeyed and was greatly blessed. It takes a desire to know Him. It also takes Him drawing you to Him.

God has spoken to me in several ways but most reliably through the Holy Scriptures which I have studied and tested and found trustworthy. He also speaks to me in my times of prayer, which I believe is conversation with God. I know that what God speaks to me is not my own conclusions because what he says to me is so unlike what I would come up with. He has warned me of troubled times ahead many times and has made it clear that he would be with me through it all. He has been right there with me and for me both in the valleys of life and on the mountaintops. I sometimes lose patience when God does things in his timing and not mine. Despite this I stay on the path he sets for me and in the end, even though I may wander down some side roads along the way, he leads me beside the still waters and restores my soul. Time and time again God has proven faithful. I never regret surrendering my life to Jesus and never will.

I think god always speaks to us, he is always there i can hear him talking to me through my consciences. when i am bad he says me warns me first, but i still do it and then even pay lately, sometimes i do not listen to him, but sometimes i obey him truly.I think we all have a god within us and we just need to follow our hearts to follow him.

i always believe that god always speaks to us. just listen to what your heart truly says and you will hear him. we must truly believe in him, because god knows what's truly best for all of us. if he wants us to do something it's because he knows that this is the best for us though i know that if you decide to follow him, you may experience a hardest thing. but that is not what matters most, what matters most is the more you follow him the more you will be happy and unafraid.
