why do we hurt the one we love?

Hurting someone you love most doesn't necessarily mean you don't love them anymore. We don't really intend to hurt everyones feeling, its just that we tend to treasure and keep a relationship as perfect as possible without any hassles, thats why we try to sometime restrict or make some limitations or even guidelines to our most beloved person. The nature of how your partner will interpret your actions will make them feel hurt if those were regarded as too much or unfavorable to them. An open communication is important, and trusting each other more will strengthen your must-kept relationship and avoid hurting each other just because you care and love them much.

i guess its because we are confident that the one that loves us will never hurt us and will understand and sometimes abuse that...and we tend to forget that that someone is rare...and we are lucky that someone is loving us ...

This question made me think of the song by Dan Hill entitled "Why Do We Always Hurt The Ones We Love?". Anyway I think it is inevitable, it really does happen without our intentions. Maybe sometimes we are also being over protective and we are not expecting the result to hurt our loved ones. Sometimes it is just because life is complicated. There will come a time that you really have to choose, it is either you hurt someone and make yourself happy or the other way around where you would rather hurt yourself to make someone else happy.

Its a part of life. One can never achieve true love with experiencing hardships. You'll know whether that person loves you or not when he/she is there for you even during hardships. It's a normal cycle of life. Everyone hurts someone otherwise every single person is a saint.
