Are you a compulsive shopper?

I used to be one. I'm glad to say that its a "been there, done that" situation for me. I managed to get out before it got worse. Some of my friends still are and are in trouble. It's a wonder what credits cards can do to one's life. Hehehe. You start of by saying you'll use it for "emergencies" and you end up using it for everything. What about you? If you are not, do you have friends or family that are?

LOL! Yes I am ! I am an addictive Compulsive Shopper ! I know that that I don't need any particular thing at that moment but I invariably end up in procuring the thing just because I like it! Believe me I feel great and my mood gets elevated just because subconcously I know that I am going to buy something new for me which may not be of any use immidiately but could be of some interest to me! I must have collected so amny thingsat my place because of thsi habit of mine! But then I think it works for me and I am happy with it as I am overstressed with my work and i need some change1 Si look some change in getting some novelty with which I am comfortable for a considerable amount of time to destress myself! This thing may not work for very body ,but for me it is absolutely OK1 I got a fantastic collection of Books, CDs, DVDs which I haven't touched so far, but I purchased them just because I wanted them and I will gothrough them when I will have some spare time with me! In fact I have posted, rather initiated a discussion myself on thistopic some months back which I think you can see in my profile! Thanks for the topic, as it is too close to my heart !

At the rate the economy is going there is no way I can be a compulsive shopper because I am trying to get my bills paid and if I have anything left then I may get me something or my daughter something.
