i always wonder how do some people have star rating beside their names ,how do i achieve that,also will it affect my earnings .

Just complete 100 posts and you will get the star over your avatar with a number which states your ranking.
The star rating depends upon your activeness in mylot or you can say it as the popularity ranking once you get popular your ranking will increasing thereafter it can be upto 10th rank
