hi everyone well i guess this might be what you call a desperate cry for help.i'm losing my home but not to a bank.you see back 11yrs ago i purchased my home thro a forcloser .this so called friend and preacher of my husbands took my deed and put it in his name and will not give it back he wants me to give him 15,000 to get my deed back or i am going to be evicted from my home.i have no job i am 52yrs old and have to be at home to care for my husband that has to have back surgery.i don't have the money to hire a lawyer i just don't know what to do. i'm hoping someone here may have some suggestions for me. i have been looking the internet over as a way to make some money to hire a lawyer but all has failed.any suggestions or help would be so much appre.

It might be worth contacting a lawyer, and giving a brief description of your situation, including the fact that you can't afford to pay for the advice. Sometimes if you have a good case, and the lawyer sees that there is a good chance that you would win, they might take your case. The important thing is to first emphasize that you can't afford to pay them - they can always say no.
