Obama on Leno

Do you believe that Obama really messed up by his special Olympics remark that he made on Leno. As a president shouldn't he be held to a higher accountability. I think it was a major gaffe, but hopefully he will learn from his mistake and stay away from comedy and stick with politics.

I was so surprised when I saw the clip of Obama on Leno, definatley wasn't appropriate but I don't think he meant anything by it. Sometimes things slip out of our mouthes and we don't realize until afterwards how bad it sounds, I'm sure he felt bad after. Maybe he was just nervous leaving his political territory and going into a comedians environment, two completely different fields. I hope that people can forgive him for this remark but I do think people will hold it against him and I'm sure he is feeling major regret at this point.

As a mother of a child with speical needs,I think it was a mistake for him to say that. It may have been his nerves and all. I can forgive him and he does need to apologize for the remark. But look at all the stuff Bush did? It happens.
