Right now most of the countries are in recession therefore even big companies closed their businesses. However even if we are experiencing it right now there are others who do not lose hope and have the courage in putting up their own business particuarly online. Others are lucky to be employed and at the same time have their business. As of the moment, I am currently employed and at the same time trying my luck in online business and i am selling silver fashion accessories made in Baguio City, Philippines. How about you? Do you have a business online? Do you have tips in order to be successful on this?

I have owned and run my own business online for 12 years. The fact i have survived through alot to me says that this lil recession will not hurt me as bad as it has hurt others.

My cousin has an online business and I help her out once in a while since she is busy with work and stuff. She buys clothes and sells them with a little mark up online. I help her by accompanying her in buying clothes and checking out her website when she's not around. She gives me a fair commission. It's not much but it's a good way to get by a bit.

Hi there. Well, I don't really consider it a serious business but I do sell stuff I no longer use on E-bay. As they say, one man's junk may be another man's treasure. I've been fairly successful and it's a good business to have besides my regular job. I also do online earning through sites like myLot and Neobux which, though it isn't really substantial, is actually an easy way to earn money online with little to no capital investment at all.

I have a sci-fi/fantasy/horror literature 'zine. The sort of defining quality of a 'zine that makes it a 'zine instead of a magazine is that it is free to the public. I have a small source of income from it - I publish an anthology each year and sell it through Lulu. Unfortunately the first year I didn't sell enough to make back the ISBN registration fee but it's still fun for me.

I'm an entrepreneur. I freelance write and sell my own zines. I want a 9 to 5 job, but with the economy who knows when I'll find one. Being a freelancer is a hard life, however. A regular paycheck would be such a nice thing, I can tell you that much.

My husband has been buying and selling motorcycles and new & used parts on Ebay for a couple of years now. He builds custom bikes and also customizes stock bikes. Recently he opened a real shop but continues to buy and sell on Ebay as well. The only tip I can give you is to always be on the lookout for great deals on the items you plan to sell online and to watch your profit margin.
