Do you like Golden Corral?

Do you like buffet, the best American buffet will be Golden Corral, as far as I know. They have nice steak serving daily; and some tasty fried fish. The best thing is steak, and I enjoy eating it.
In comparison of price and food selection. Golden Corral is not as good as some Chinese buffet. Some Chinese buffet provides large selection on seafood and fruit. The price is cheaper than golden corral too. What do you think?

I love Golden Corral! I think they have a great selection, and their food is really good. I do like Chinese buffets too, but I tend to prefer Golden Corral still, because there aren't as many Chinese dishes that I like, so I end up with more food that I enjoy at Golden Corral. I love Golden Corral's pot roast, and I also love mashed potatoes, which I can't really get at a Chinese buffet.

I just wish the mashed potato's at the Golden Corral's I have been to were real potato's and not instant potato's. I guess it's hard to find real mashed potato's at a restaurant, but it would draw me there more then once a month at best.

Yes I do like the Golden Corral, they have some good food. My only problem is I never have enough room to eat what I want. I like a good Chinese buffet too, I like to try out different dishes to see if I like them. You don't want to go to a restaurant and order a dinner if you don't know if you will like it. So far I haven't had any Chinese food that I didn't like.

We like the buffets because the kids get to pick whatever they want and I dont have to fight with them to eat what I have cooked. We go to Golden Corral every once in a while with the kids and alone. Its just a casual place to go where we have a pretty big assortment of food.
Chinese buffet is good too. The kids like to eat the chicken there. Its their favorite. We might actually go their tonight.

Well, if you are talking buffet quality steak, yeah, Golden Corral tops the list. But then again, that IS "buffet quality" steak, and not the best steak you can get. Personally I would prefer to eat Chinese if I want to "buffet", and go to a real steak house for steak. I don't care of I pay $30 or more for my meal, a good steak is worth it.
In the north (like in Wisconsin and Minnesota) there are places called North Country Steak Buffet's, which used to be Ponderosa Steak Houses, and they were very good when they first opened. Sadly though in the past years their quality has gone down, but I don't believe there are any Golden Corral's up there - but since I now live in Kansas City I have plenty of sources for good steak!
