Last year I started eating Bacon and Eggs as part of a new weight loss regimen I started and found that I really missed these for the last few years. Turns out if you use the right bacon and the right eggs you can actually lose weight, even if you eat these for breakfast every morning. My favorite way to do it involves frying bacon on one side, then flipping it and adding eggs without breaking the yokes. I turn the heat to just below medium, cover the pan and let the whole thing cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Everything is done perfect, and even the yokes get fully cooked. Wonderful! How about you? http://couchpotatoweightloss.com/lose-weight-eating-bacon-and-eggs

Hi, grandslambert! I like mines scrambled to where it looks almost like an omelet. I like it to appear thick, moist and lightly buttery. I like my bacon well cooked, but not crispy. It can have a slight crispiness to it. I don't like it too hard or dark. I will have to try eating bacon and eggs to see if I can lose weight. Thanks for sharing!

Wait, you can't just eat ANY bacon and eggs - it has to be good stuff. I only eat uncured, grass-fed bacon and pastured eggs. Bacon from hogs raised in feed lots is not healthy and you will gain weight. Eggs from chickens raised in barns is not healthy and you will gain weight. Go back to my original post and check out the link there for more details. I just don't want you to take my advice but eat the wrong ones and gain weight. BTW, scrambled eggs and omelets, though they are really good, are not going to work for this. A cooked, broken egg yoke offers little nutritional value and is hard for your body to digest. Hard boiled eggs or fried eggs cooked with an unbroken yoke are much better for you.
