World Turn Off/Eath Off ---anyone doing this?

Just saw a commercial on tv about the Earth Off scheduled for March 28th, 2009 @ 8:30pm (local time). My kids are all for it. We are going to turn ours off for an hour. I just sent my oldest sons teacher a few links for activites to do in school for it. I wonder how many people out there are actually going to do it? A few of our neighbors had heard about it but werent sure of the time so Ill have to tell them. Better make sure I dont go out to any stores at that time, it might be pretty dark...lol

I think it is a great idea. And it could be a terrific way to continue to teach my daughter about doing things for the planet. We already recycle. My daughter may need some candles though. She isn't too fond of being in the dark.

I am generaly at my mother in laws at this time on a Sat night and so everything at my house will be off.
Have fun with it, mayby ya'll can roast marshmellows and talk about the comming up week.
