I will never, as long as I live, forget the way my fellow Americans stood up and were STRONG and BRAVE after our darkest day amidst our deepest sorrow.
I wrote about it under my old account MSV1313, just do a mylot search for September 12 and it should come up if you are interested in my experience.
I saw people from all walks of life whose hearts were breaking reach out and dig deep to do absolutely anything they could to help their fellow man. It didn't matter what color, religion, or political party you happened to belong to, all that mattered was that we were ALL Americans and we were going to deal with this horror together.
It seems most people (outside of those of us in NY or near the crash site in Pennsylvania or who lost loved ones on the planes or saw the attack in DC) have forgotten what happened to our country less than 8 years ago. They have certainly forgotten the people WE became in the face of such evil We stood up, we stood strong and we stood TOGETHER.
I love my country, I worry for her more than ever when I see so many things happening that our contrary to our basic premises. I worry for her when I see people forgetting what happened to us, and more importantly, how valiantly we reacted to it.
There is a website for anyone who shares my feelings and concerns, it was started by Glenn Beck, but it is FOR US, it's called The 912 Project. I hope you will check it out...
http://the912project.com/
If you have gone to the website, what do you think?
Am I really NOT alone?

"We surround THEM!", "It's not THEIR country it's OURS!"
I love America just the way it was before all this "change" and I love Glenn beck for his bravery and patriotism.
