PFD is not a State welfare. For alaskan's that spend it.

PFD checks go up almost yearly. but.... - But will they last forever? I as a Alaskan see's our state economy go up and down and I don't think it will last forever.

Permentant dividend Fund checks that alaskan's get yearly. I found this article in the Juneau Empire newspaper online. http://juneauempire.com/stories/032009/let_412540484.shtml we shouldn't just spend it cause we get it yearly. its a privalege and it may not last forever. I try to save some of it every year. what about you? what do you think?

wait..so you get a big check every year just for living in Alaska? or is it for those ppl that work in certain areas or something? seems weird to me, but then ive never been to alaska. this day and age i personally wouldnt count on ANYTHING to be "permanent" things are getting pretty messed up..and im sure at least some things will get worse before we start seeing some good news. i think its a great idea that you been saving a least a portion of that money every year..you just plain cant go wrong with doing that no matter what!
