oxalate combines with calcium to form insoluble crystals that make up most kidney stones , so avoid oxalate foods like Beans, Beets, Green peppers, Spinach, Peanuts, Lots of meat, Soft drink etc..

My ex- mother in law had kidney stones quite often and as far as I know food isn't the issue. You need to drink a lot of water and other clear liquids. Mainly juices and plain or flavored water. It helps flush out your system. Try and stay away from dark sodas. Personally I would recommend staying away from anything overly processed, it takes your body longer to process foods that are full of perservatives and "man made" ingredents then it does to process natural foods and liquids. Main thing is to drink a lot of water though, it will help. As we all know water is a natural cure for most things that ail us.
