What kind of sweets did you cook today?

I as you all or some of you know cook from scratch. This morning I rotated our browning bananas with the fresh from yesterdays shopping trip. Hubby had to do some repair work on the farm so I promised him I would bake him banana bread so thats my sweet of the day and best part of the recipe i use you only dirty a mixing bowl and large spoon..no power tools needed .lol

i havent cook any sweets for today but i eaten a lot of sweets.. is making milkshakes be part of cooking sweets? i guess not.. i also made some ice popsicles yesterday that im hoping to be chilled when i take it out from the frezeer later..

ymmm milk shakes haven't made them in quite awhile yeah they would count in my book as a sweet thanks for your yummy mentions

Homemade bread sounds great! I haven't made any sweets yet today, but I am thinking of making a pie later. I haven't made one in a really long time, and my husband and I both love it. He just started his vacation time from work this weekend, so I thought it'd be nice to make something to celebrate! I'm planning to make a peanut butter pie. That is a big favorite in our house! Yummy!

oh I wish i could make a pie i cant make crust to save my hide i can make anything but that and ooohhh peanut butter pie i get that on the occasion we go to a local coffee house thanks for your response

I haven't cooked any sweets yet coz I don't have any recipes available for sweets. My wife is the one who can prepare sweets for our family. We haven't had the chance to enjoy any sweets lately as we've been very busy at work.

I have not made any sweets today. I think that it would be nice to make a sweet dessert everyday for my family,but it seems that I have never gotten it done but I am working on it. I have to work overnight tonight so I have to go to sleep soon.

today i didn't make any sweet in my house,as i have went for lunch to my relatives house here. my relative prepared indian sweet called badam burfi. daily i won;t eat any sweets ,as i eat less sweets,and not fond of them. only weekly once or when i went to any friends house , i will eat sweets then . sometimes i will prepare varieties of cakes in my house ,but i didn;t tried any bread recipes. once i tried banana cake with banana and plain flour.

oh I bet the bread turned out great... sounds good. I just got a mixer from my gram's stuff, as she passed away last year so I will be baking and stuff more now that I have it...LOL I did bake oatmeal cranberry cookies today, but they werent from scratch, I just had to heat the oven and put them in...LOL, but they were very good. yummmm!! happy mylotting, and snacking!!

I never use any mixers when making my muffins or sweet breads. I make a pretty good banana bread too. The only sweets I made today was some English toffee for an order I needed to get made. This batch was topped with milk chocolate, but I have some with dark chocolate I need to make tomorrow.

Well what do you know about that. Great Minds think alike I guess We had Banana nut bread today. I was going to fix an Apple pie this afternoon but I noticed I had some very ripe bananas so the plan changed! LOL Maybe Apple Pie later this week. It wont take them long to finish off the banana bread I'm sure! I bet your haous smells as good as mine!
