Do you use multieffects or individual stomp boxes for your electric guitars?

I have a KORG AX3000 and a bunch of vintage stomps. Now my multieffects can get any sound I want from itbut it sounds very digital. My stomps though sound warmer and more vintagey but they're quite a burden to carry around gigs...

I have a ZOOM G2 multi-effects pedal but im not contented by it. Id like to buy just a single distortion pedal. Yeah the sound for it is digital and theres all those buttons that i dunno about. I just want a single pedal for thrash metal songs. Any recommendations?

I think you would really like Boss's Metal Zone 2. It's got that chugg chugg sound good for palmuted chords or solos. Could definitely get other sounds because of it's EQ.

I only have enough to afford (one) stompbox which I use pretty frequently. When I get money I am looking into investing in a multi-effect pedal, though. I have played my fathers BOSS ME-30 (very old) and it is really great. I know what you mean by the digital sound, but with some tweaking it is usually not that bad. I just love having everything wrapped into one package. When I get the money I am looking into the new BOSS ME-90, which from the videos I have seen is just sick for all genres of music.

Some say Boss's GT 10 hits all the spots. But I kinda agree with the ME-90 being a versatile multi effects.
