I received this from the first-hand friend who began the fund, and have verified that it is 100% legitimate. If you can help, or if you can forward this information to others who can help, please do so. Atanas is a young man, with a wife and baby, who is a US citizen. Last week he was in an accident which severed his C6 vertebrae, leaving him paralyzed. He has no savings, and no health insurance, and is facing a long, uncertain recovery with a great deal of therapy and medical bills.
