There are basically 3 types of affiliate marketing programs which are: Pay Per Click (PPC) Pay Per Lead (PPL) and Pay Per Sale (PPS). Which one do you like most?... and which type has earned you the most money? Me personally, I have made the most money with Pay Per Lead and Pay Per Click (and I'm not talking about those pay to click sites I'm referring to Google Adsense style programs).

ppm (pay per thousand) which is pay per view. The easiest kind.

Oh yeah I forgot about PPM as you refer to it (also known a CPM (cost per mil). Thanks for your input!

well its actually thousand. The m is the roman numeral for 1,000.
