Waxing is a dangerous activity. as someone who does it professionally i have heard some pretty horrific stories about at home waxing going awry. Anybody had a bad waxing experiences?

Perhaps it's because I've never gotten my waxing done at home (I got to salons instead), but I've never had a waxing horror story nor have any of my friends. Waxing can cause break-outs because pores can get clogged, but I think that's the worst thing I've ever heard of when it comes to 'waxing horror stories.'

oh heck girl how about this: i knew a girl who wanted to try this home waxing kit for her legs. The kit was substandard and she ending up WAXING SKIN OFF!! she had huge strips of skin missing. yikes

Ouch. Well, like I said, this is why I get mine done at the salon instead of doing it at home.
