Studies show that an Average teen will send 2,272 text Messages in one month. If you do the Math thats 27,264 in a year, and 272,640 in 10 years. If I'm wrong correct me, When I saw that number I was wowed haha. Even though I text a lot I never really has the time to add up the numbers of how much I do text. Hopefully I fall in the Average range haha..
Well my question is do you think this will effect the this generation and future ones as well? usually technology makes things better but, do you think it's just making us plan lazy? Of course technology is going to get better and better and it wont stop. Every 7 years a chip gets smaller thats for people who didn't know that.
Maybe I'm just thinking to hard or just trying to start a discussion because I'm bored and I have nothing better to do. But yeah.. What's your Opinion About this..?

Opinion: If anyone even tries to think about inserting a chip in my brain, they'll spend the rest of their lives walking with one extra non-removable shoe.

Well I'm not surprised at the that number for some reason.. Most of those texts say "lol", "watsup", "idk", "wtf" and "stfu" anyway. lol

Well, I do not think that that much texting will make people lazy. I believe that chatting on chatting programs, or message boards such as this, to that extent is what would make a teenager lazy. With the cell phone, a kid could be walking to their friends house and throw an "almost there" or "u ready?" text. After a movie, a teen who can't drive can text their mom "movies over". Or, say you were in the library, can't talk on the phone ,and needed to contact a friend: texting is the perfect answer!
Many texts that go out are sent while on the go (at least for me and my friends, even though I only send about 500 texts a month).

I would say I text about 70 text a day.. and I don't think thats so good there be days I text a lot more haha.. So I range in the average haha.. I text about 2,170 a month now and then it might be less or more.. so yeah .. I'm only 102 text from average everything else is not normal haha..
