Do you read all your responses in myLot?

What I've mostly notice here is that when a discussion has so many responses already, many responses wont get a comment anymore. Does this mean that myLotters don't care to read about them anymore? Or its just so tiring to read all of those responses and time consuming cause you still need to discuss more topics, read to some interesting discussions, adding some friends...etc. Then if thats the case, then I guess there's no need to respond anymore to a discussion which had so many responses already knowing that your response wont be read anymore.

Hi jankar!
That may be the case with a lot of Lotters but definately not with all of them. I comment to all those who respond on my discussions however old the discussion is and no matter how many responses it has.
It cannot be called a discussion if the person who started it does not go back and comment. I think it is a very bad habit by some not to comment. Offline if you ask a question and someone responds it's polite to respond to them and it should be just the same here in my opinion.
Seems that some just can't be bothered but in the long run they will have less and less responses.

Your right there, I always look first at some of the responses if the author of the discussion gives comments on it, if there are no comments no matter how interesting the topic is, I dont like to respond to it anymore cause i know it will be neglected anyway. But sometimes in my case, I cannot monitor all of the responses in my discussions cause I'm still new here. I jusat hope that some myLotters understands. But, beginning from now on, i'll try to reply to every responses in my discussions.
Thanks!

Above this discussion you can see 'started'.
That is a list of all the discussions you have started since you joined. At the end of each one you can see the name of the user that gave the last response. I keep a page open there and get back to respond once I see it's not my name as the last one. That helps to keep up to date doing it that way.

I read responses. People will know if I have read the response by making a comment on their responses.
If I don't, it is because I may not agree with what is said.

I always make sure that every response I got in my discussion will have an undivided attention and for sure will also have a personalized reply. That is my way of appreciating the member for dropping by and for taking time to make a comment. In this way also, you can invite them in your future discussion to come back and have a peek with it.
