IPv6 - is it in use?

I was just setting some options in vista...then I saw Internet Protocol v6 in my network properties...I have searched for it on the net & find that it makes the use of 128-bit address as comparative to 32-bit address in IPv4...beside this what are the other features that we will see in IPv6?

i do not think it is in use. but i think some private organizations use it but its not becoming popular fast
