Buying or Borrowing Books?

Many people choose to borrow books.For one thing,borrowing books can save us huge amounts of money.For another,if we borrow books from the library or friends,we normally have deadline to finish then.And consequently we can read more books in limited time.just as a famous Chinese saying goes,"books can not be read unless borrowed" I blieve that advantage for buying books are more obvious and compelling.Firstly,we can keep the books as long as we wish.Secondly,we can take whatever notes on the margin of the pages of the books .Finally,the process of selecting and keeping books can be a great fun. How about you my dear friends?

Hi tang, Well due to time limits i cant read as many books i really want to. Earliar during my school days i use to read a lot of books and then i had to give up doe to lack of time. Hmm.. my brother who is very fond of reading is a memeber of a library and he usually brings a lot of books. And sometimes he buys some excellent ones as well. BTW iam reading "the testament" of John grisham these days. Cheers, Tutul

You missed one. How many times have you watched a good movie more than once. How many DVDs do you buy? The same goes for books. You can reread them a year or two later. I have read "the nest" about ten times and I'm almost ready to read it again. I have read most of my Stephen King books more than once. There are some cases where I borrow books and I don't read half as much as I used to.

I tend to borrow books from my local library and if I find one that is particularly good and I would like to go back to it time and time again, I will then buy it. I can save a lot of money doing things this way. - Derek
