I sure hope that your wife (or in my case, husband) can be your best friend...I married my best friend 2 weeks ago.

See, I don't like this notion of spouse being your best friend. My husband is the person I am closest to in the world, but that is because he is my husband. My best friend is a girl I've known since pre-school. While we are very close, obviously we do not share the same closeness I share with my husband. I just think the two are very different.
