What is your favorite vacation destination ?

There are many beautiful places in countries around the world, ofcourse, where one would love to enjoy relaxing vacations. One of the places which has become a favorite vacation destination for me is Pattaya in Thailand , right on the Gulf of Thailand. A beautiful beach, an awesome sea-view, and a refreshing natural environment. I have been there twice now, and have enjoyed my holidays ! Every one will have favorite vacation destinations too, ofcourse. What is your favorite destination ?

i don't go on vacation every year so can I tell uoi about my best trip? My mom and I went to New Orleans in 1997, by train. We had a wonderful time and I feel lucky that I got to visit before Katrina.The one place I will love to see now is Chicago.

I must confess that I never thought of Vancouver . I am a Flames fan so it would be enemey country during hockey season but you have mountains and I love mountains so why not visit in the summer. Is that a good time? Is it too hot during the summer?

Vancouver is nice all year round. Summer time would be nice too. Yes, Rocky Mountain resorts are so pleasant and enjoyable. If you like mountain, you will very much enjoy the Canadian Rockies ! Very relaxing !

Pattaya is absolutely beautiful. Then again so is Cebu in the Philippine islands. I have a few favorites, these two and Lo-Tung Taiwan is another. If you ever get the chance to go to any of these places you won't regrete it.

Hello Moondancer. I have been to the Philippines, just to Manila. I know there are many beautiful places on the islands in the Philippines. I love to go there. I have not been to Taiwan yet. I hope I can soon.

My favorite vacation destination is a tropical island surrounded by a white sandy beach. Just off the coast is a colorful coral reef with many friendly fish. Out of the destinations that I have been to like that are Samoa in the South Pacific Ocean and the Seychelles in the Indian Ocean. In Samoa I bathed in cool waterfalls, saw fruit bats in the rain forest and swam from gorgeous looking palm fringed beaches. When I was in the Seychelles I hired a bike and cycled across La Digue Island. I followed a track leading to a pretty little cove. I did much snorkeling and one time I was swimming cool raindrops fell on me in the warm ocean. Now that was a refreshing contrast. Perhaps my favorite trip was to Mexico, Belize and Guatemala. There I stayed in a tree house and in a little thatched beach hut. I climbed Mayan ruins and saw my most memorable sunrise from the top of a Mayan temple at dawn. From the darkness the sky turned orange and then the jungle began to get light plus the animals all woke up. Wow!

Wow ! Really beautiful places ! Staying in a tree house is certainly a very pleasant adventure. I wish I would have the chance some day.

Bali is very beautiful too. The beach are awesome. I never been to Pattaya but Pattaya is famous too.
Bali also has great culture too, their dances, their food, their art craft,
I think you should visit Bali too sometimes

Yes, I should. I will take your advice. Bali is one of the most attractive destinations for tourists around the world. I have been to Java, but didn't make it to Bali. The next time, I will try to do that.

Hi, greenline.
Without question, that place for me is the island of Maui in the Hawaiian Islands. I have a physical, mental and spiritual connection to that island. I could not possible choose a favorite spot on the island, but there is a particular beach that is pretty special to me.
