Have you started spring cleaning yet?

UGH! It is something that I hate to do because I would rather be outside, so I have devised a plan that will get my spring cleaning done without wasting a whole day to do it. I plan to do one room each day until I am done. I started with my sunroom today. I began by cleaning the ceiling fans. Next I repotted some of my plants out there that looked a little weary from the pot being slightly smaller than they needed. I dusted all the windowsills. I have yet to wash the windows because it is raining. Vacuuming the furniture that I have out there was a bit of a chore because our chocolate lab was allowed to be in at night and she slept on a love seat. That is OK, she was happy and warm. The floors are done and waxed. Whew! That is a bit of a job. Tomorrow.....The kitchen!

Yes, I remember when my boys were little. It was very hard to get much done. Just enjoy your kids and let the housework get done when it can. They are only little once. :)

I'm making a huge project out of my cleaning. I have a very small 2 bedroom apartment, and attic space in the garage. I recently mailed out our application for housing assistance. So I'm cleaning and prepping for when we get approved! I'm pulling everything out of my attic and re-packing/storing it. I'm also storing stuff that we don't use often but are keeping. The actual cleaning is a huge task as well. My son has asthma, so it's not good to vacuum or dust while he's home and he only goes to school for 2.5 hours per day. I try to get the dirty stuff done right after the kids get on the bus. Since we're in a basement (HORRIBLE for his asthma) I do have less to clean. It's easy peasy to wipe the walls and corners at the ceiling, and I only have 2 windows; one in each bedroom. Happy Cleaning!

I have not started any spring cleaning yet. I am really in no hurry to either. I don't like to clean. I am sure I will get around to it eventually though.

Everyone has his or her own pace. It is hard for me to clean when the weather outside is so glorious. :)

This is inspiring. I started with the front entrance way today. I swept down all the dirt from the winter that crept under the rugs and washed and dried the rugs. I then worked down the basement stairs and found that our male cat has made himself a new cat pan in the rug. Yuuuuuuuk! I love him and he's getting a bigger cat pan. Happy Spring to him. I took some time out with MyLot and now it's time to clean the living room and then the kitchen. These are just everyday chores, but it feels great to get stuff done in sunny weather.

Admittedly, I don't like to clean when I can help it; however, this doesn't mean that I don't clean, it's just that I tend to drag my feet about it. I'll probably get started next month by getting rid of clothes and shoes that no longer fit me and work on cleaning up my room so that I can get new furniture put in--which I've been meaning to do for a really long time.

I hadn't thought about getting clothes and stuff over to the local shelter. Thanks for reminding me. :)

No I haven't and I'm dreading it too. My husband has his work stuff all over the living room and we have a junk room that is completely running over. Plus we have 3 dogs that are in the house. I did clean the bathroom last night. I need to paint in there too. It's kind of hard for me to get anything done. My mom lives with us and she is always wanting to get out (which is great but doesn't leave enough time for me to get my housework done). The 3 dogs have a tendency to follow me around and stick their nose in whatever I'm doing too, lol.
