Now that is upon us we all have many things to do preparing for the spring/summer months. This shot shows one chore I got done recently on my to do list. I replaced all the batteries in my solar powered lights. These are on my front deck as the ground is still frozen a bit that I can't stick them in the ground. I've started my composting again, Cleared the yard of doggie doo. Ewwww! Raked some areas of my flower beds and trimmed them back. Do you have a large Spring to do list? Have you started anything to prepare for the warmer times? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

I need to dig my vegetable garden, should take too much as there's no grass there. It is where the shed was that blew away and slammed into my house. I accomplished on task on Saturday, taking apart that *#& shed! Thank God for cordless drills!! Today I paid $20 to have it all hauled away. I have to get the weeds out of the flower beds, fix a screen in my living room that partially popped out of the window frame and--clean up a winter's worth of dog poop!

We don't really have a to do list for spring or summer things. We do have many things that need to get done and will get done. We do have our humming birds taken care of though. :)

webeishere, I live in an apartment so, spring cleaning for me is cleaning out closets, draws, cabinets, donating clothes, books, items from around the house that I have no idea how I aquired or even what I was thinking! I might buy new curtains, or a new set of drinking glasses, coffee mugs, baking sheets, just a general spruce up of my ome psyche. I miss having a piece of ground in the spring to do the things that you've been doing. DCMerkle

I don't really have a big spring to-do list, but I do need to start pruning my rose bushes and cutting them back some, I have some wild rose bushes in my yard and they start blooming fast, sometimes I just barely get them pruned when they start blooming and they almost get out of hand. I don't have any flower beds, just the rose bushes.

Yes I do have a large spring cleaning to do list. I have not started on it yet. I will have to go through boxes and boxes of stuff. Not looking forward to it.

I've composted, weeded and trimmed the hedges. The lawn has been mown, and I have a show of daffodils already. These are dwarf ones which always come a little earlier, the others being in bud still. There's not much more to do at the moment, apart from trimming the hedges and mowing the lawn when necessary, and the usual weeding of course. Brightest Blessings, my friend.

It was 80 four days ago. I thought shorts and flip flop weather was here to stay. Today we are under a winter storm watch, and part of the state is under a blizzard watch! This place is nutty! So I don't know if I'm ready for spring. I mean spring started last week, right?

Wow AGB you have been busy , haven't you? We have a massive list for both indoors and out but unfortunately I cannot do much about it! We are going through each and every room just now and trying to declutter and clear up - at least I can make decisions if little else! It does mean I have to delegate , so it isn't all bad! lol Hugs xxx

We have a large list of spring to do's. I feel your pain on the doggie doo. My hubby (thankfully) has that choreI will have to find a way to thank him for doing it. We can add getting clothing together for nieces and homeless. That one will take me most of the day when I get around to it. We also usually clean the carpets.

Sounds like you've made a good start! We want to plant some bushes in the yard. Planning to do it soon. We also want to finish putting gravel down for the driveway. We've did the walkway already. Other than that, we don't do much for spring because we don't own our lot.

I did go out to the store for milk but that was it. Back in the house. And now I'm on this thing having a chat with you and everybody else on mylot. Your friend onlydia

I don't have much to do list on my front yard. I do what I do every spring time. My mom usually told me go to Home Depot, get a bag of fertilizer and a bag of grass seed to sow on the front yard. I just want the green grass to grow. Then, until summer time, I am ready to cut grass.

I did a bit of yard cleanup last week when we had two days in the double digits. Then the weather turned cold again, which was just as well, because I pulled an intercostal muscle and had to rest up. Maybe later this week, I might get back to it.

I don't do alot of outside spring cleaning, other than rake up where my annual flowers bloom, mine mainly has to do with inside cleaing up. Moving the winter clothes to the storage, and pulling out the spring and summer. Doing a huge once over on the house, cleaning from top to bottom to get the house aired out from being all closed up threw the winter. The last few days I've already started that, and hope to get everything done by the end of the week, but the outside things will have to wait as we had horrible rains last week, which caused some minor yard flooding, and we are in for another dose of that this week. Best of luck getting all your spring to do list completed.

Well, I do have a spring to do list now. However, it is not a large one. I just want to do as much as exercise in the weekends. I have to work in the working days. So it's really important to do exercise in the weekends. In winter, it is so cold that I just did not want to go out to play. My to do list will be buying some sports clothes. Then go to the playground to play volleyball with my friends. If the economic environment turns good, I may add changing my job to the list. Cheers.
