Are you doing the $0.01 Tasks?

I saw that there are a lot of 1 cent tasks tonight. This is the first night I have noticed them. They are about listing all the variations of a keyword. It's true that they don't take very long to do, maybe 1-2 minutes. However, the reward is still very small when you think about our earnings for starting and responding to discussions. I think I usually earn a few cents per post if it is long enough and is of good quality. So it seems to be it is better to invest ones time into a discussion instead of the 1 cent tasks...
What about you all? Are you doing these low paying tasks? Would you rather just make money from discussions?
I think the article writing tasks are nice as far as payment. Also some of the research ones are good too.

For those not too happy about responding or starting discussions I think they are perfect.
I have not done them as I was busy elsewhere. Anything that allows you to earn, especially on a site that pays, is worth it in my opinion.

It hardly seems worth spending that amount of time for a penny, now does it? I completed one this morning and then I saw that I would only be earning a penny. Seems like a waste of time. The article writing is better pay. I note that they haven't posted more of those, they started off a little high, maybe? They had reasonable amounts for most of the tasks, now they want us to complete them for peanuts.

Yes I know what you mean about them starting to high. I didn't get any when the tasks first came out but I heard the articles were going for $3. When I did get around to snagging an article it was down to $2.

i didn't notice that one cent task. i prefer that low rate task cause they are easy i supposed. cause those that pays higher seem too difficult for me and i could not finished those difficult task.
i prefer the lower rate for i am sure that i can accept it and be able to do it correctly.

Hi friend,I did not get any one cent tasks so far but I got a 50 cent task about foot ball tickets.But I spent more than an hour ,it was very tough.I accepted the task first but was not able to do.So I too feel that responding to discussions are very much better than doing tasks.It is time consuming and confusing a lot too.So if I get easy tasks I will take up otherwise i will go for responding discussions only.thanks for sharing.happy mylotting.

I doubt it. You are just probably on at the wrong time. There wasn't any tasks for a long time...almost 4 days. I have forfeited a task and had 2 rejected and still I am able to do tasks. I think there just truly weren't any out there when you checked. So hang in there and keep checking!

I have just finished a task which is equivalent to $.01. I know it's too little but I just want to try a task. I don't know if it will be accepted. I am just crossing my fingers crossed.

I suppose that some people might like them, but for me they seem to fiddly for my liking especially for such a low reward.
It would take me longer to complete than it is to earn the same in doing a discussion.

I don't care to bother with any of the tasks. I read through the directions for a few of them and it seems tedious and doesn't appeal to me. I'd rather just earn from discussions here.

Yeah this is the first one I have tried. I then started looking up on the USC stuff but when I got to the site I think you have to register in order to get the different ticket level $$ info...so I gave it a shot with the super easy and fast one. Still waiting to see what they say about it.

Hi, well i just come back to mylot today after a lot of days off.... and today i see it one alert about the tasks, i see it one for 2$ (the bad thing that it was ended lol) and see it other ones actives but just for $0.01 and $0.02 cents, i know that 1 and 2 cents its money but i dont think so that i will do it because take some time and i will be happy with 5 cents or more but no with just 1 or 2 cents. have a nice day and bye bye.

I completed two of the task by thinking the reward as $0.10 and after some I noticed correctly. What a mistake? Who will do such a task for just 1 cent?If we post something or start some discussion, we can earn more than 10 cents in the time requred to complete the job. Then I did another taks (football ticket), whether it is correct or not.I completed working more than one hour.I don't expect , that myLot will offer a task for single cent as like our arora sites.Ok.Let us see some other tasks.

I know when I first saw them I also thought they were for 10 cents. I didn't know there could be a tasks less than that amount. The work is really easy so I guess 1 cent is fine for those willing to do it. I did a couple of the football ones, I am not sure if I got all the info right or not and they were pretty time consuming, but at least they were for 50 cents.

They do seem to take up alot of time. All of them do actually, and in most of the cases they take longer than it is actually worth.

The only task i have seen so far seems to take much more effort in a subject i have no real interest in, and pays far less. As you said it is far more fun and rewarding to make a valuable contribution to a topic rather than just breezing through something quite dull.

Maybe it's not worth of doning. But money is not the most important thing. To learn something new is the primary thing. Your mother language is English, while mine is Chinese. To be here, the basic aim is to promote my English, earning money just be an interesting for me.

Hi angela. I haven't seen those .01 tasks but even if they are still available I won't waste my time doing them. Aside from the fact that instructions are confusing and long, I can earn that cent from a single post which will only take me 30 seconds to write. I am still waiting for the $2-3 tasks. I like doing these tasks rather than the small ones.

I have not seen any 1 cent task on hear. Latley when I been checking the task there has not been any up at all. Personally I don't think its really all the time and effort its worth.

I have done a few. Figure it wont hurt me to do a few of them. "Every penny counts!" I do HITs on Amazon as well and I do alot of $0.01 tasks and they add up fairly quickly. I also do other HITs for more money. I do the same on MyLot...i do whatever looks appealing to me regardless of the payouts.

hai i thik it is my bad luck . i didnot got even a single task to do . every time i look in to my task box it was empty for the last 3 days .. what would i do for getting a task please reply me ..

Yes there were no tasks for about 3 days. The 1 cent ones I am talking about were available last night. You must have just missed them, there were about 500 available...so someone must have done them because they are all gone now. Just keep checking back and I am sure you will find a task at some point.
