Hi guys! I wanted to ask if the person you love the most said that to you that you are his/her property and would never want you to be away from them anytime?? Would you be happy? would you find it offending? would it hurt you? or would it give a negative side of that person to you? And yeah, I have heard some people say that to people they love.

I won't mind if I love someone and she says that I am her property. I feel take it as a compliment that I am worth a person, who could be considered as one's 'property'. I also believe,the one who would use these kind of words for me, would also loves me from deepest of her heart.

I just wonder,how does it relate to u. According to me, making the person u love, as ur property will not improve ur realtionship. U just have to impose your trust on him/her and belive me, he/she would be automatically bound to u.

well it should be relating and also i was talking about the way he said that and the type of words used. Inspite of that I knw it feels like they have bonded in love, but not that they have right like a property.

Well if a loved one says this out of possessiveness, but treats me like a precious human being then only I might not get offended but somehow this property word is a very materialistic one and does not go well with the emotions.

LMAO...if my partners EVER even CONSIDERED saying somehting like that to me and be serious about it they would be in for a HUGE shock! I am NOBODYS property and won't tolerate being treated as such either...That would definately get them not only a slap in the mouth but on the "single" list real quick

Hello keep_onwatch! You know what, my husband always told me that everytime we talked on the phone. Honestly, I feel flattered and I like it. It's like saying I am his world now. I love him so much and it's a great feeling that the one I love can't live without me. He even told me that the moment he saw my profile, he knows I am his..hehehe..

You shall not declare them as properties with which they feel inhuman.Instead,tell them,"you are my better half and I can't feel better without you.So,Stay with me forever,not leaving me for a second".That way,one can gain confidence and nearness from the partner.It is all in the words.Cheers!

Yeah! i like the way you say that, expressing feelings with appropriate words is essential to make a person fell special, or for him/her to know how you feel about them.

ohhhhh yes it hurts.just like the situation now in our beach property.we bought it 2 yrs now and somebody approach us that we dont own and it was funny because we paid already but the papers not finished yet.

I would run out the door and never look back! I can't stand jealous controlling people and I would never stay with someone who felt that way. I've been with a few jealous guys in my life and it never lasted long because I just can't tolerate being with someone who is trying to control me. I'm happily married now and my husband and I are both very laid-back and non-jealous people, so we're very good together. I don't think I could be with any other kind of person.
