feathers or fur

I love feathers and fur (not animal fur - fake fur). Whether a boa or a jacket. Which is your favourite and do you wear them?

I've seen models in magazines with fur shawls. They really look stunning. Unfortunately our hot climate doesn't warrant us to wear anything that has fur or feathers. I think western countries with 4 seasons are more suitable wearing fur.
