I think it must be fun to be dating online. I have yet to experience this new trend that is socially accepted nowadays. I have been chatting actively here but could not be considered dating to my understanding. I have never met any online friends personally and hopefully this can be realized in future, should any friends wants to meet over a cup of coffee. It sounds interesting.

Hi Savypat, I Haven't met anyone in person but do belong to a couple of sitesbut have only ever exchanged a few emails but I did use to run a speed dating agency at one time and met a lovely guy who I dated for four months but he was 53 with grown up children and I had my very young son and he wanted to be able to go out at the drop of a hat whereas I needed to organise well in advance so we went separate ways. I don't trust online as much as I do meeting face to face at a prearranged singles venue though so I only go on a local one and it is easier to check them out first, if you do arrange to meet with someone make sure it is in a public place and people know where you are going and never accept a ride home after until you know them more. I am sure you would be careful but sometimes in excitement we can forgot the basic safety issues eh! Huggles. Ellie :D
