What have different peoples experiences been with negative calorie foods?
You are supposed to be able to eat as much of them as you want and not gain any weight. This includes mangoes you guys. I had one friend try it with mangoes and she got fat. These foods are actually supposed to help you lose weight.
apples
asparagus
beets
blueberries
broccoli
cantaloupes
carrot
cauliflower
celery stalk
celery root
cranberries
cucumbers
to be continued.........

A number of the things you have listed here contain sugar and it is impossible to eat as much as you want of those foods and not gain weight. The only foods I could see this to be possible with would be certain vegetables like lettuce.

The way negative calorie foods work are really amazing.Although an apple is 105 calories your body uses 115 calories to digest it so that is how it ends up being a negative calorie food. I know it's true of apples I eat them all the time, and I've been losing weight steadily.

You are losing weight because apples are a low glycemic food with dense fiber. They are not only good for you the bulk they provide makes you feel full and the fiber helps clean out your intestines helping to eliminate excess in the gut area.

I think mangoes are a healthy and delicious food and I don't worry about their high sugar content because I try to pair them with other high fiber foods which trap the sugar and carry it safely through the digestive system. Also I think some fruit sugars are healthy. This is an interesting discussion. I believe that cucumbers are a zero calorie food :-)
