what I mean by that is how some reglions try to "convert" people from their form of faith. What does it matter as long as you believe?

I think in todays times we should allow people to belive how they do and leave it at that. If their faith is not right for them allow them to come to you sort of thing. We need to stop telling each other that one faith is wrong or better than another.

is our time different to theirs, i mean jesus' & the prophets? I don't think so... besides, jesus warned us to keep our eyes open.. and He commanded his followers to preach & teach as you can read in Matthew 24:14 & 28:20. Though we should let people of different culture or religion in their lifestyle, i think it's not that bad if some are evangelizing for it is a duty of true christian. or at least, you should feel guilty, i mean, if you feel that your beliefs is the truth, and it's the only way to save your life & others, won't you tell others about it? For it is written: "Take heed thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thous shalt save thyself and them that hear thee" 1 Timothy 4:16(Compare Ezekiel 3:19)

Well, who will we pick to be the religion police? I don't see anything wrong with people trying to convert people as long as they don't use force to do it. I have a brain, I can tell people to leave me alone and I can stay away from them if I feel they are trying to push their opinion or views on me and I have done so in the past. We have harassment laws here if you feel someone is harassing you you can take them to court.

That is what I have done myself but many of the people that go door to door just don't seam to understand when you tell them I have a religion and I am happy with it. Many time they have told me I am going to hell because I do not share the same faith as them. I feel that taht is a wrong way to go about things.

My mother turned Jehovah as a result of them coming to our house constantly and playing upon her low self-esteem. She finally woke to the reality that it wasn't the greatest religion out there. I am a firm believer that you do not have to be a member of any church if you believe in God. When the pushy people converge upon my house I tell them no thank you. They try to leave their literature I hand it back and say no thank you and have a nice day.

I see things the same way you do. I am so happy to know there are more of us out there.
