http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/29864783/ "Huntington Beach police said Monday that a 30-year-old woman opened a line of credit in someone else's name in September and had the procedures worth more than $12,000 performed at the Pacific Center For Plastic Surgery." i hate to tell the lady but when she is caught she wont be able to deny it since all breast implants have serial numbers lol.. i have never heard of some one stealing some ones identity for plastic surgery!! lol.. what crazy reasons have you heard of people stealing identity for?

LOL Talk about desperate...and dumb. One of my brothers had his banking information stolen by a woman who used it to purchase fabric. I can't imagine being that desperate FOR FABRIC that you'd steal someone's money to buy it. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

After reading, the response of mentalward, I just had a doubt, what will the police show as evidence to the honourble Judge when they are going to charge this woman in court.

Unfortunately, that's getting more common these days. I read more and more stories of how identity theft is changing from purely stealing money, but also medical identity. There was one fellow that was refused insurance because he had been diagnosed and operated on for a certain disease. It wasn't him, but someone who had stolen his medical "identity" and posed as this guy so that he wouldn't lose his own insurance. The real person didn't find out about it for a couple of years.

Wow, that is a crazy story. I do not think I have ever heard of a case like this before. I'm surpised that someone could even come up with the idea to steal another person's identity to get implants. I am also surprised with all the forms that need to be filled out ahead of time that someone did not pick up on the fraud. I cannot say that I have heard any other specific cases about stolen identity. This one is certainly unique.
