There I am, with 6 tasks to choose from... wow. So I choose a task about writing 4 paragraphs of info on the Akai MPC1. I write the whole blasted thing and I click accept. Wrong-o, I should've clicked first. Gone! So since I am never going to use it anyway, here it is! To make this a discussion; hints and tips on the content I've written? Spelling and grammar, overall contect, any help is appreciated. Akai MPC 1 The Akai MPC 1 is a highly professional and easy to use piece of equipment. It has all the essential features you would want from a sampler, including a 32-voice stereo sampling, 640-track sequencing and 16 velocity and pressure sensitive MPC pads. With 16MB of on-board memory which can be expanded up to 128MB you will have plenty of space to save your work. Need more space? Not a problem! With the build in CF card reader you can work with Standard Compact Flash cards of up to 2GB. As a bonus you will receive a CF card with popular samples that will help you getting started. There’s no need to stop the fun when you are on the go. The MPC 1 is small and portable and will easily fit into your backpack. It’s ideal for the traveling producer. Take it anywhere and connect it to any Mac or PC via the built-in USB port and start dragging and dropping files between the pc and your CF card. It’s easy as that!

That is too bad, your paragraph was really good. I have had the same thing happen to me too. It was on the first task I tried and I missed the part about accepting first. One other time I saw a task and accepted, but after I accepted the subject changed. The original topic was about saftey first baby gates, so i wrote a submission and then when I went back to submit it the topic was for another type of pet gate. I just ended up forfeiting because I had to go to work and wouldn't be back in the time frame. I hope that you are able to get some new tasks soon.

Thank you for the compliment on my piece, Breezie. It's highly appreciated . I'm sorry to hear that your tasks topic has changed along the way, it's allmost impossible to write something new in time when you hear of it on such short notice. I will be looking into tasks sometime soon and hope something is around on which I can add something of value. There have been tasks around related to soccer but I find it hard to do such tasks as I know little about it and it does not interest me either. Happy mylotting!

It's too bad you didn't see the part where it says to accept the task first before writing. You have to realize that you would not be the only person trying to get the extra cash from writing these paragraphs. New tasks are being posted quite often so check back for another opportunity.

I did realize I wasn't the only person out there as there were hardly any tasks available whenever I looked, I think I just overread the fact you need to accept first. I thought once accepted you needed to have it at a ready. It's too bad but it did teach me about how to fullfill a certain task and therefor I am more secure about accepting one a next time. Thanks for your response!

Once accepted you have 8 hours to complete the task. It usually only takes me about an hour when I have to research information. The last task I submitted allowed an entire day for completion.
