I have a few things that I have been told that WD40 is good for thought I would share and if anyone has tried these let me know if the really do work. 1. It will protect silver from tarnishing. 2.It will loosen stubborn zippers 3.It will untangle jewelery chains

I'm not sure about protecting silver from tarnishing, but it is certainly very good for freeing things that are stuck. I've used it several times for that, particularly locks.

Actually, you should keep your locks lubricated - WD40 is a good example of what lubricant to use. Using WD-40 on your locks a few times a year will help prevent damage to your lock, considering you use it daily it will eventually happen. Probably a lot sooner than you would like it to! You can read more about it here: http://bit.ly/7IdaGt

If you put the silver away right away it won't tarnish as quick as if untreated. Did you know that WD40 is good for getting stickers and price tags off of things. It's good for removing bug guts off of windows. Rub some onto arthritic hands and joints. If treated right away, you can get crayon, pen and lipstick and grease stains out of clothes. Hope this helps!

I have a rotary push mower and ever other time I use it I give it a quick spray with WD40. It makes it run as smooth as the day I got it and quiet too. I could probibly live without it but I sure wouldnt want to.
